Parades, Picnics and Projects

To show the many uses of the new wagon, I came home to a parade last night. It's difficult to see but the girls were in dresses and sitting on lawn chairs on the wagon as Gary towed them around the yard. They thought it was the best. All the cool things Dad can do while on vacation.

After the parade we drove up to Sandy Island Beach for a Farm Bureau picnic. Oswego County was host to the State meeting this year. Last night was the family picnic. They had clams, hamburgs, hot dogs, sausages, corn on the cob, salads, salt potatoes, and watermelon. It was a beautiful night to be up there. We really were lucky to have nice weather. Tonight was a more formal dinner at the Bayshore in Scriba. They served us a very nice steak dinner on Lake Ontario. Again the weather was great and the sunset was beautiful. I forgot my camera tonight but I would recommend the place for any reception or banquet. Here are some pictures from last night.
Kelly found some rocks she wanted to bring home. Only how to carry them????
Laura and I playing in the sand.
Both girls feeling the sand between their toes.
I found this picture funny because the sign in the background said "Do you know where your children are?"

So then there is today, I called home just before lunch and got "Daddy broke the sink" instantly from Laura. She sure does sing like a canary. Apparently, Drano wasn't going to help with the clog in the sink and Gary felt the need to give it a little turn with the pipe wrench. Only the pipe wrench was to strong for the pipes. Good thing we have an extra sink in the bathroom.
Then there was the black cloud that lingered over our house and Gary's fresh cut hay... What is with that cloud? Stay away from that hay, Gary wants to play.
